With over a decade of experience on acclaimed projects such as True Detective (S1), House of Gucci, and Too Old to Die Young, Santho Goonewardene has closely collaborated with many notable artists including Nicolas Refn, Jared Leto, Rob Reiner, and David Gordon Green. Drawing inspiration from these experiences, she began creating her own films, earning international recognition and multiple awards for her short film Prayers of a Saint, starring Amber Midthunder. Guided by her deep love for cinema, Santho is committed to bringing complex and diverse stories to life, and hopes to empower others by using her emotionally seductive, visual voice. She is currently developing her first feature film with North Node Studios, a timely Young Adult story that weaves magical realism with sharp social commentary, bringing fresh representation to the coming-of-age genre.
